[0:00] Well, hello again. If you are joining me, I'm so happy to have you again with me. And so thank you so much for your company. But of course, I just want to say welcome also to any of the new listeners that have found their way to the podcast. And maybe this is the first episode that you are picking up and that's completely fine and if that is the case again just a huge welcome the reason why i did want to welcome is i've literally started hitting the road again so i'm back on tour doing the live shows and i've just been going around meeting a whole bunch of wonderful new people and souls and i have been a little bit more, conscious and aware of promoting myself. Yes, I'm one of those people, I'm not very good at promoting myself, kind of just really do rely on the energy and my good intentions of putting out there. And I do rely a lot, of course, on word of mouth, because I truly do believe that's one of the best.
[1:12] But obviously, when people are in front of me, I just say, hey, look, This is a great starting point to jump into my world and really see if you'd like to even work on yourself a little bit. Or if you need that little extra hand, you can work with me. And this, honestly, the pod or the podcast is a great place to start. So if it is, fantastic. And you never know, this episode could have been the one. Called to you. I know that I have a few of my favorite podcasts that I like to listen to from people that I know, I've met in person, I learn from, and they have a plethora of episodes and information on their podcasts. And sometimes it's just about using my intuition and going, I like that one. I believe that one might help me today. And you never know, this one might have called to you. But this one is absolutely inspired. It's coming out really hot off the I'm here, totally, totally impromptu, really going with the flow on this one. And it is all based on everything that happened last week and based on everything that I'm also moving forward in for 2025 and moving forward and trying to build everything forward. So this one is all about the challenge.
[2:33] So let me take you through what's going to happen here because i've got quite a lot to fill you in on so if this is your first time you're going to be like not no much different however you've been listening to me for a while i can fill you in on a few little gaps that you might have been, seeing or kind of wondering so a lot of people going oh what's happening how can i learn from you all this kind of stuff so i have been going for a big change if you've been following me for a while, you'll be absolutely aware that we've had a big changeover. We're in the finishing and final touches of that changeover. We are completely retrofitting and, how exciting, rebranding a portion of my business. So by the time that you are hearing this, I really like to think that that will be completed. We are literally in the home stretch. It is a massive undertaking, and I have to give the biggest shout out to my lovely creative director, Linda Green. Yes, Linda Green in the house.
[3:37] My goodness, she is an intuitive person. Beautifully in tune design whiz helping me with every single step and aspect of this and none of this has been possible without her so linda i know that you will listen to this and you're probably going to read the transcript of this and you'll be like oh i'm in there oh.
[4:07] I know that you'll hear it but honestly a huge huge huge thank you and i just feel like i don't thank you enough and i feel like i don't say it enough but if i just want to put it out here publicly as well so guys any of the work that you are seeing design wise i wish i could say that as me no that is all linda she is the true artist and whiz of putting all that together this is me right here guys what you're listening to that's my job i stay as they say stay in your zone of genius so i'm learning that more and more i stay here and the stuff that i'm not so good at i start now to ask for help okay so another big one here also fits perfectly with this episode with self care challenge whatever else so this kind of stems up and where this inspiration for this episode comes in is we literally just finished our second soul reboot mini retreat wowzers oh my goodness That is three days where we take
[5:22] a lovely bunch of souls who decide that, you know what, this is something I want to do.
[5:27] I need to get in touch with myself. I need to do something. Something needs to change. I'm not sure 100% what, but I'm going to take that time out for myself. So, it's three whole days and we kind of spin it up on the Sunshine Coast in Calandra, which is lovely. Like, it's literally just across from the beach. so there's plenty of space to for people to stay there's like beach around you can go for a walk and it's a really beautiful calm vibe in and around Calandra there which is great and it's three full days of going through a lot of content and as I described to everyone in there that But, you know, please be aware that during these three days, you are going to be like humpty dumpty.
[6:19] And what I mean by that is you will literally have a fall. You'll fall into a thousand pieces, but it's okay because I'll put you back together again. The only thing is I can't promise it's going to be in the same way that you walked into that room on the first day. And if there is some, you know, even the slightest shift or change within somebody in a positive sense, then I feel like, hey, our job is done, but it has been absolutely intense. Now, what's even interesting about that too is it was literally the same content that we teach throughout the program. So, it's myself. Obviously, I'm leading the way. I've got my absolutely lovely, lovely assistants and coaches in there as well with Sandra and Natalie. And they're huge because without that support, it's almost impossible for me to get to help everyone. So, it's really good to have them. we do make the running joke of they are aka the tissue fairies so they get to run around sometimes because there are some very very profound moments that happens throughout this retreat and if you're one of those beautiful souls that came along again huge thank you for coming along and every single one of you.
[7:40] Every single one of you absolutely played full out.
[7:44] Not one person shied away from the challenge. Not one person stepped away from the playing field of I'm here for me. And that in itself is a huge feat. And that speaks volumes about the group of people that came together. That is why Grand Design Universe has done that. It was a much smaller group in terms of this group we're working with, but you just work with it. It doesn't matter whether it's five or 50, it's always going to be what it's going to be. And this one was really kind of super special. It was deep. It was very profound. Lots of wandle sharing, lots of renewed faith, which I loved to see. And there was a beautiful, beautiful email that I have received from one of the attendees of that retreat. And I am just going to share this. And at the time of the recording, this means it's all fresh and all new. So, I'm just going to share this. It's from one of the attendees. It says, hi, Peter. This experience has changed everything for me in an amazing way. The love, compassion, support, understanding that I felt with all of you guys has flipped my perspective on myself and on people. It blew my mind. It has helped me to have more confidence in myself and to see that my dreams aren't weird or silly or unattainable and that I absolutely have the power to bring them to life.
[9:13] I am and will be forever grateful that I was guided to this experience to you and all the wonderful, inspiring people I met there. I have to admit, I absolutely love receiving that email. I've read that a few times because it just reminds me of what I do and why I'm doing it.
[9:29] And that really does is a beautiful summation of what it's all about. And the big thing is about bringing people together. But one of the big things that did come up in the retreat itself and also after the retreat is understanding of like you've got to be taking care of yourself. You have to be mindful of what's happening with your energy. And we had this beautiful discussion that your energetic body, it's so important, that's what you're running on, right? So, you've got your physical body, which is your blood, your heart, all your organs and stuff like that. You've got your emotional body, then you've got your energetic body and that's kind of summation of those two things put together.
[10:13] But your energetic body is like a bank account. So, you need to be very, very mindful. It's like every day you wake up, you have a renewed bank balance. Wouldn't that be nice in real life if we could get that? The bank would say, you've had $500 today. Here's $500 more tomorrow when you wake up. You have past go. You can get paid $200. Wouldn't that be nice? However, no. Realistically, just to put it in metaphoric terms, it's like you do get a renewed balance. The thing is, every action that you are taking throughout the day, every action, every choice, you are either.
[10:54] Making a deposit to your energetic body or you're making a withdrawal. Now, just looking at it on a very black and white basis, you can ask yourself right now, have a look at yourself on a day-to-day basis. Even just look at yourself today. If you're listening this in the morning, you haven't had a day yet, maybe you can look at yesterday. But the whole point is just pick a day very recently in your mind. If you'd like, you can extend that out. You can start looking at this going, right, let's have a look at the last week, last month, last three months. You can choose any kind of time period that you'd like. But with this though, now you've got to have a look at it and going, how many deposits towards your energetic bank and body are you making versus how many withdrawals are you making with your energetic body. That will be a very confronting answer for the majority of you. And the reason why I bring this up is because after this retreat, We'll be right back.
[12:05] Boy, oh boy, I got slammed because energetically, I was holding space. And I'm usually very, very good at it, but I will confess, in this one, it was a bubble. It was beautiful. We were there. But in that space with a combination of a couple of things, I got lazy with my self-care. I got lazy with my energetic care and my practices. And of course, as a result, I've paid the price. I have made way, way too many withdrawals. I'm happy for those withdrawals, don't get me wrong. However, on the other side of it, I'm like, okay, maybe I could have managed the funds or the energetic funds there way better than what I did. So to give you a case in point is literally now at the time of the recording coming off it, And I have come away with a very, very, very unusual hip pain, starting in front of the hip, side hip, leaning to lower back.
[13:13] Almost discs like all on the left side. So there's your emotions, there's your spiritual energetic body, all in spades. Everything can happen. I've never had this particular physical issue before, but I just know that it's my energetic body screaming at me going, right, sunshine, you need to listen. You need to stop and you need to pay attention and you need to make some very immediate deposits into your energetic bank account. It's almost one of those reminders or text messages you do get from your financial institution. Your account is in arrears please fix this immediately you know it's like you know hurry up and get yourself in the positive and the truth is is like wow like it has been an interesting journey with this and it's been super reflective of where i am myself at personally and i feel like a lot of the attendees are also at after attending this retreat we do talk about it and we do encourage and we have to come up with a bit of a list. But coming up with a list is very different from actually enacting it, implementing it, making it a practical thing, incorporating it into your routine somehow, or creating a new routine. These are very, very important things to do, but there's a big difference between talking about it, making a list versus the implementation.
[14:40] So this is kind of like what we're talking about and this is why I wanted to bring it up. Now, so because of this, this has brought about a whole bigger point of inspiration and And it's also sparked the creativity and the start of one of the biggest facets of my new program and communities that I wanted to do and share with you all. So at the beginning of this year, we opened up the very first, very kind of introductory level tier of my Inner Power community. And that community is called Awaken Your Soul. That is the kind of introductory level you know if you want to call it beginner you can call that i don't like to call it that because everyone's at a different stage but it's just about the awakened stage it's where your interest might be or it's like you're wanting to learn more about the energy but this whole part this community is a really beautiful starting point to kind of go you know what, I'm ready to start looking, I'm ready to start asking questions, but I'm not ready to go all in deep, make big changes and really look at myself in a very deep way like Soul Reboot, Soul Reboot's the next section. So, this awaken is exactly that and it's for people who, like I said.
[16:08] Have an interest in spirituality, interest in energetics, wanting to learn a little bit more, not sure where to go. And it's kind of like another step, you know, beyond here, beyond this podcast. It's like, this is inspiration. This is thought provoking. And just to kind of get you interested, but this is the next thing. But the whole point is, it's also designed for people who quite time limited, you know, because we've all got busy lives. And the whole point about this is that there is a nice quick three session program to just get you looking at yourself to get yourself back on track so it's a little bit of a self-check system but then the great thing is there's a community and we've already got a wonderful bunch of souls in this community and it's just a month-to-month basis but on this month-to-month basis we run a challenge every month and the challenge is designed literally to you know you can do it whenever you want it shouldn't take you any more than a couple of hours to accomplish That said, hours are very precious for a lot of people. So we kind of give the gracious period of one to two weeks to complete the challenge.
[17:19] So this is where this is inspired. And so every month, I am going to be creating a challenge for this community. And if you're here listening to this, or perhaps you are on the email list, you're on both, the great thing is, guess what? You are also part of my community. And that's why I want to say thank you, right? there and of course welcome you are already part of the community so the whole point here is that is that i'm also going to share.
[17:49] These challenges with you. So, you can do these challenges completely self-paced. You can do these when you want to or whenever you're listening to this and there is no pressure whatsoever to complete them. It's just there. If you feel the desire or the pull to go ahead and complete them, hopefully it will help you. And I know that if you do do these, you will start to get your own personal shifts. You'll start to feel the changes, not just within yourself, but you'll also start to feel as there's changes in people around you, but also within your environment as well. And that's what this is all incorporated. And it's just about awakening yourself, increasing your energetic and emotional sensitivity, because the more that is more sensitive, the more we raise that sensitivity level, the greater awareness you're going to have, the better decisions you're going to start making life. So, it's all there and geared to help you. So, I'll be sharing these challenges with you. And so, here we are. This is the first challenge of this beautiful new Awakened community. And I want to bring this here and share this with you. So, it's up to you. You can participate. If you want to hit pause, skip, go back, change, that's completely up to you.
[19:11] But guess what? So, for this month, which will be in this period, which is going to be released, so we're looking at late Feb, but we're looking at the self-care challenge. It doesn't matter when you do it, but here we are, and this is the first one. And I wanted to share this with you, and hopefully it can help you here as well. So, the self-care challenge and what it's going to incorporate, and should you choose this mission, should you choose to accept it, you will see how this goes so the self-care challenge is going to be pretty simple and that's the idea but they are all aimed to help improve yourself your life your energy your connection, Whether it's one of them, whether it's all of them, doesn't matter, but all they're designed to create positives and help you to get back to yourself and your center. So, this is going to incorporate around three aspects. So, three activities or three questions for this particular challenge.
[20:13] So, for the first part of the self-care challenge, you need to find out and decide what you can do to fill up your emotional and energetic cup, right? So, looking at that using the term as a cup, it means obviously glass half empty, glass half full kind of cup, but the whole thing is we're trying to now identify what you can do to top up your emotional and energetic cup, not your physical one, okay? So it can link, but we're looking for something a little bit deeper. So, for example, this comes back to what I was talking about with the withdrawals and the deposits. So many of us are withdrawing, and obviously so many of us actually end up in a negative. That's why we're always running down and tired. We need to start switching this, and that's why this challenge has come about. But we're looking at the emotional and energetic cover. The reason why I want to get very specific about that is because it's the area that so many of us forget.
[21:17] Pure and simple. So, you might say, oh, that's right. I know exactly what that is. It's the gym. The gym tops up my emotional energy cup. Okay. It could, but it's also relating to your physical body and you're relying or relying on the sensational connection to your physical body to top up those. Not saying it's incorrect. I still think it's a very wonderful thing. But if that is you, I'm going to encourage you to go one step further.
[21:44] That's right. One step further. You want more, okay? So, when I was talking about this, actually, in a live event this week, I was literally talking in the VIP Q&A, where people get an extra half an hour, we can talk all things spiritual. And this question came up, what do you do to switch up? What do you do to top up your cup? And so, walking on the beach is a huge one. If the meditations, okay again really have been slack on that at the moment and but a huge one which is really good the two big ones that i do love depending on my mood and energy are fishing fishing is huge it it just reconnects me to nature it grounds me it centers me it gets rid of all the other thoughts and connects me back to self so fishing is huge for me then at times again like i said depending on the mood, the emotional space, the energetic space, journaling. Journaling is a huge one for me. I love it. It's not something I do every day. It's when I get a calling to, like I said, it depends on the mood. But what you're going to be looking here is what can you do to fill up your emotional energy cup? You need to have a think about that. But it's not just about identifying this. Part of the challenge is to do it.
[22:58] Practical implementation or integration. Once you find this, It's about keeping track or implementing it for the next week or two, trying to incorporate it a little bit more into your life, consciously applying this beautiful energetic deposit. We want to encourage you. We want to see you making these deposits into your energetic and emotional bank accounts. And so now it's kind of like getting ready. It's almost like saying, hey, you've got a holiday coming up. Time to start putting the savings away. This is what we're talking about. but this is for an everyday thing. And that's where that first one comes in. So that's your first task and you've got to apply that. So what's going to do it and start applying it and then make notes about how you genuinely feel after you do those things. Does it really top up the cup? How much does it top you the cup? You can rate it and score it on a scale of one to 10. One being, you know what? I thought it was good, but after I did it, I felt no difference. That's a one. It could be 10 being high going, oh my God, why haven't I done this? I haven't done this in years, but I feel amazing. I've forgotten how it feels. I'm feeling so good inside.
[24:11] Beautiful. You found like a 10 or you've reconnected. So give it a score. That's going to be really important for you as well because you need to see and understand how you are genuinely feeling about depositing in the account. You want to know how much you're depositing? Is it a dollar? Is it $10? Is it $100? Is it $10,000? So get with that one and focus on that one as well. Once you have started implementing that, here comes the next two. They are not as easy.
[24:40] Number two is you will have to place your hand on your heart and allow the words to fall out about yourself.
[24:55] I can feel some of you already just resisting. The shoulders might have gone up. The muscles contracted. One of our people at the retreat literally said, oh my God, I can't believe it. I'm puckering up. Literally her, she was squeezing her glutes and puckering up. Maybe that's you in this instance. But we're going to take this one step further again. So you're going to place your hand on your heart and allow the words to fall out. But not just that. Set your phone down and hit record. It doesn't have to be video. It can just be audio. But allow the words to fall out about yourself. And just see what comes out. Don't think about them. Whatever pops up, just say it. Say it out loud with no attachment. Just say it. and allow them to keep going and keep going and keep going until you feel as of though you cannot speak anymore about yourself.
[25:55] So, that's number two. The third one, I have incorporated, I've told a few people about this. I actually also do this in the Get Out of Your Head workshop, which is coming online soon as well. It's going to be great. But this is a powerful one and it takes a little bit more self-time. So, I encourage you to do this number three after you've done the first two and giving yourself some time to put some deposits into the bank account because you're going to feel better about yourself. You're going to be a little bit more trusting. You're going to be in a better energetic state to work with this. So number three is you're going to place your hand and I really encourage you to use your left hand for this one because that's our connection to the energetic side of our bodies. But you take your left hand and you're going to place it literally just around the bottom of your diaphragm. So between your stomach and your diaphragm, you're going to place it there, but you don't want to be touching your belly. You don't want to be touching your body. You just want to have it like a couple of centimeters or an inch or two just above that area of your body. You're going to close your eyes and you're going to ask your soul. Yes, that's right. You're going to ask your soul, what do you want me to know today?
[27:13] Just close your eyes and you have to allow your soul to speak to you. This is not always the easiest task. That's why I'm suggesting do it last. It takes a little bit to get to that trust. You might see a vision. You might receive a word. You might have a feeling. It might spark a memory. This is a beautiful thing. It kind of goes where it needs to go. But the biggest thing here for this last one is that you really need to trust. What is coming up. Again, don't overthink it. Do not analyze it. Just literally write it down and see what you come up with. And it's a beautiful, beautiful exercise where all of a sudden you can get some
[27:58] amazing direct insight for yourself from your soul. So, those are the three big things and activities that you are going to do for the self-care challenge if you decide you want to have a go at it.
[28:17] So just to cover those again very quickly, remember this is about putting more into that energetic bank account. That's what's important here. So number one, what can you do to fill up your energetic and emotional cup? So find that activity and implement it for one to two weeks. I'm not saying every day. If you can, great, but just more. And remember to rate and score it after you have done it to acknowledge the difference in your feeling. Number two, you can put your hand on your heart and allow the words to fall out of your mouth about how you are feeling and talking about yourself. When you do this, record it so you can listen to yourself because if you are doing this genuinely, Secondly, you could very well be surprised you don't even know some of the words that you are speaking. That's how powerful this can be if you honour it.
[29:11] Hand above the diaphragm stomach, not on your body, just above it, sitting there listening and asking, what does my soul want me to know today? Trusting whatever comes through, vision, word, feeling, memory, whatever kind of comes up for you, work with that. But again, do that one last because it's going to be a little bit easier.
[29:30] So, there are your three activities. There are your three big things for the self-care challenge. I really encourage you to do that. If you want to comment, you're more than welcome to comment.
[29:41] And go about it on social medias, DMs or whatever else, you're more than welcome. But I'd love to hear how you're going and possibly get your own little group together and start doing this. Maybe do this with a friend and say, hey, do you want to do this with me? And just kind of start your own little thing. It could be just really, really helpful and you don't have to do it on your own.
[30:00] If you're struggling with that, here's the other beautiful thing.
